Now £42 on Tripadvisor: Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi, Hanoi. Enjoy the use of free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business centre and an indoor pool. Although it is in the French quarter it's only a few minutes walk to the old town and it's a lot quieter. Small bar with food convenient for later evening drinks and light food. The staff are helpful beyond what I am sure is their job description. Hmmmm.....not a problem for me to walk to right area to check in, but if I had mobility issues, it could be a problem.

Left luggage is put away properly and not left lying around reception. Bed and pillows were firm comfortable. Parking option was included and used. The room was spacious. Have a nice weekend. So I didnt dare to eat from there. The hotel manager (Hong) was very good with communication and the hotel staff was kind and gave good restaurant suggestions.
