The rainy weather systems we are experiencing are from the tropical depressions coming across from the north. This has caused the surf to be pretty messy. There is some wave swell on the increase from Thursday with what looks to be some good waves by Saturday and  Sunday for surfing. The sea is calm and like a bath, and there is no wind. This afternoon to tonight we are expecting wind and wave conditions to pick up with the swell increasing to 5 foot + over the next few days. This will bring with it some showers and rain, but not forecast to be heavy yet. We have been away to Australia and just returned to the island to find nice clear seas and blue sky.
